Ikea Hack – Reading-nook – ORC Week 4
I can’t believe it is already half way through ORC challenge, but I am no where near half way through my challenge. I still have tons to do. I am not even close to completing this Ikea Hack. Yet I still have 2 more accent wall to complete and one wall is the most complicated which would take around 2 weeks. I am just hoping I should be able to complete this challenge.
Now lets get to it. This is the Ikea Hack. I got the following cabinets and bookshelf from Ikea. Assembled everything. Now got into creating the structure around it and the trim work.

This is how it looks after assembly. Took me 2 days to assemble everything.
Now I created a base structure and then raised it to make it as bench!!
This is how it looks after all the assembly of my structure and cabinets in it. Loving how its coming together!!!
I still have to do tons of trim work and another book case to reach up to the ceiling. A floating shelf and then install/make a roman shade!!
